GT4M (“Global Tax for Marketplaces”) operates and may operate other websites. It is GT4Ms policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, GT4M collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. GT4Ms purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how GT4Ms visitors use its website. Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to GT4Ms websites choose to interact with GT4M in ways that require GT4M to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that GT4M gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up at to provide a username and email address. Those who engage in transactions with GT4M are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, GT4M collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with GT4M . GT4M may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. GT4M may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, GT4M does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Depending on your country your address and tax related data may be sent to to an external service to receive the applicable tax rate for your location and/or to VIES to verify your EU VAT Number (if applicable).

Although most changes are likely to be minor, GT4M may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in GT4Ms sole discretion. GT4M encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to ist Privacy Policy. If you have a account, you might also receive an alert informing you of these changes. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
